The reboot falls short of this comeback for concert producers. They are fighting to get the audience back to the theater. The health crisis has generated many postponements and cancellations. In this context, live performance professionals can no longer benefit from the rates and guarantees previously granted by insurers in terms of special risks.

Therefore, the sector union, Prodiss, has just negotiated for its 400 members two mutual insurance solutions in order to cover them from economic losses related to the cancellation of a show or the impossibility of operating a venue, especially for the unavailability of an artist. due to virus. At the end of a tender, launched at the beginning of the year, Prodiss chose the broker AON, world leader in entertainment, as well as the insurers AREAS and MAIF, present for several years on the risk of cancellation of the show. The insurance covers a canceled show up to 6 million euros.
