Peripheral series from the creators of Westworld

Amazon has released a new trailer for its upcoming TV series, Peripherals, which will premiere on the streaming service next month and will be available to watch from October 21, 2022. Peripheral stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Gary Carr, Jack Reino, Eli Goree, Charlotte Riley, JJ Field, Adelind Horan, T’Nia Miller and Alex Hernandez.

Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are serving as executive producers on a new television series based on the 2014 book of the same name written by William Gibson.

“Peripheral” centers on Flynn Fisher, a woman trying to piece together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynn is smart, ambitious and doomed. She has no future. Until the future calls her. Peripheral is master storyteller William Gibson’s dazzling, hallucinatory look at the fate of humanity and beyond. “

Peripheral Series

“Flynn Fisher lives in a rural area in the American South, works at a local 3D printing shop and earns much needed extra money by playing virtual games for rich people. One night, she puts on her headset and finds herself in a futuristic London, a slick and mysterious world seductively different from her own harsh existence.

But it’s unlike any game she’s ever played before: Flynn is starting to realize that this isn’t virtual reality… it’s real. Someone in London, seventy years later, found a way to open the door to Flynn’s world. And as attractive as London is… it is also dangerous. As Flynn searches for who connected their worlds and for what purpose, her presence here sets in motion dangerous forces… forces intent on destroying Flynn and her family in her own world.”
