Persona 4 Arena Ultimax made a bit of an appearance during EVO 2022 as even though it’s not among the official tournaments and we don’t expect to see any content additions, it still had a long-awaited announcement.
Next step for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax: crossplay?
So Persona 4 Arena Ultimax today is finally moving to a rollback type network code, a flaw that really spoiled the communication and later the release of the game. To the point that producer Kazuhisa Wada posted a video a month before the release of the new ports promise a rollback for this summer.
Therefore, the promise is kept, but it should be remembered that this does not apply to all versions of the game, since the function is reserved for PlayStation 4 and PC, so the Switch will remain on the old version online. Please note that Steam requires a few tweaks to access it as the update will not be done automatically on PC.
So, you need to go to your library, right click on the game and select “Properties”. Go to the “Betas” tab, enter the code “p4auopenbeta03” and select the option “open_beta_3”.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is available on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC after launching on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and arcade terminals. You can read our review here.
