Game news Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis: SEGA’s free-to-play MMO finally dated!
12 years after the release of the original Phantasy Star Online 2, Western players will be able to rub shoulders in good conditions with the SEGA MMO, which will soon land in a version called New Genesis.
SEGA has kept players waiting for a long time, but has finally confirmed that Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be released on June 9 next on PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PS4, but not for everyone. Indeed, only Japanese players will be entitled to Switch and PS4 versions. For our part, we will therefore have to be satisfied with the PC versions (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series and Xbox One. At launch, players will be able to choose from six classes, and progress to level 20. These limitations are only temporary, since one class will land in August, and another will be available in the fall. This winter, players should be able to access a whole new region, and progress to level 35.
