Thunderful and indie developer Wishfully are excited to announce that their long-awaited cinematic puzzle adventure Planet of Lana will launch with Game Pass when it launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Windows 10 Store in the spring. 2023. This new date will give Planet of Lana additional development time to realize the ambitious potential that Thunderful and Wishfully believe in this cinematic puzzle adventure.
Ahead of the public gameplay showcase at gamescom 2022, Wishfully has teamed up with Xbox to unveil a new trailer and post on Xbox Wire, highlighting some of the gameplay mechanics players can enjoy. looks like a cat.

Set in an alien world, Lana’s Planet tells the story of Lana and her faithful animal companion Mui as they go on a rescue mission to save her sister. This moving story is experienced in a side-scrolling cinematic game format as players explore a colorful world filled with stunning landscapes, strange creatures and dangerous machines. In terms of gameplay, Planet of Lana is an adventure filled with daring platforming, addictive puzzles, intense stealth sequences, and companion mechanics that bring Lana and Mui together to create unique gameplay and story moments using their abilities in tandem.
The soundtrack for Lana’s Planet was written by DICE and BAFTA nominated composer Takeshi Furukawa, best known for his work on The Last Guardian. This ethereal odyssey is tied to a unique visual style that combines hand-drawn illustrations, intricate parallax overlays, and subtle use of 3D graphics to create the feel of an interactive painting. On high-end PCs and Xbox Series X, Planet of Lana will run in native 4K (2160p) resolution at 60 frames per second, bringing its incredible work of art to life.
