PlayStation 5 India restocking on July 26: how and where to reserve your PS5 unit

Sony wanted to ship the PlayStation 5 around the release date of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

The PlayStation 5 will be back in stock in India on Monday, July 26 at 12 p.m., Sony announced on its official Sony Center ShopAtSC site. While this has not been confirmed, it is very likely that the other regular retailers – Croma, Flipkart, Amazon, Prepaid Gamer Card, and Reliance Digital – will also receive a replenishment. We will update this article once we know more. This will be the sixth time that the PlayStation 5 will be officially back in stock in India. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be any sign of its digital-only counterpart PS5 Digital Edition that had been offered alongside the last few times.

The July 26 restock date for the PlayStation 5 comes 14 days after Sony’s next-gen console last went on sale in India and is sort of a mirror of the PS5 pre-order situation in May when the PS5 had a quick second to restock the next one for PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition just 10 days before.

Earlier reports indicated that Sony wanted to ship the PlayStation 5 around the release date of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The only PS5 title on the horizon right now is Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut (released August 20). However, the Sony Center has yet to announce when this new wave of PS5 pre-orders will ship.

As has generally been the case with all previous pre-orders of the PS5 India, this should also be the fastest first deal. Expect limited quantities and make sure you’re ready ahead of time before the PS5 hits the shelves again.
