PlayStation Latin America has released a trailer for the new PC port ahead of time. This is a pretty well priced PS5 launch exclusive with one of the manufacturer’s mascots.
No respite for PlayStation’s PC strategy with the announcement of a new port.
PC still gets PlayStation exclusive
Starting October 27, 2022, PC players will be able to get Sackboy: A Big Adventure. A PS4/PS5 platform game released at the launch of the PlayStation 5 featuring the Little Big Planet mascot.
Developed by Sumo Digital (LittleBigPlanet 3) rather than the original creators of Media Molecule (Dreams), this new adventure was relatively well received. Although Metacritic’s press rating is not the highest ever (79), users were more generous with an average of 8.6/10.
Embark on an epic and perilous race against time alone, or team up with up to four adventurers to overcome challenges one more dangerous than the other. Can you save the Patchwork World from the villain Vex and his fearsome Turnebuller and become the legendary Chain Knight?
This PC version of Sackboy: A Big Adventure will have the usual enhancements. We will therefore find 4K at 120fps and support for 21:9 ultra-wide screens. But also Nvidia DLSS and VRR (variable refresh rate) compatibility. A technology integrated into TVs and PC screens to avoid the phenomenon of tearing (picture tearing).
A few days before that, PC gamers will be able to enjoy another PlayStation title: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Compilation that includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
