During Sony’s investor presentation this week, the company revealed that their new PlayStation VR2 VR headset will launch with 20 “essential” titles for gamers. Unfortunately, Sony has yet to officially announce when the PlayStation VR2 headset will be officially available and pricing has yet to be confirmed.
What we know for sure is that the PlayStation VR2 will be the second Sony VR headset to be released for the PlayStation platform after the first one released in 2016. The original was designed for use with the PlayStation 4, but the next generation will support the new PlayStation 5 console and feature an OLED display with a resolution of 2000 x 2040 pixels per eye at up to 120Hz frame rates. The PlayStation VR2 will connect directly to the PS5 using a USB cable. C.
