Porsche has unveiled its latest 911, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a car with some serious performance, it has 517 horsepower but weighs just 1,450 kg.
That means the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS hits 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 184 mph. This car is clearly designed more for the track than the road.
Highperformance roadlegal sports car takes full advantage of motorsport technologies and concepts (911 GT3 RS: 13.4 l/100 km combined fuel consumption* (WLTP), CO₂* emissions combined (WLTP) 305 g/km, fuel consumption* combined (NEDC) 12.7 l/100 km, emissions CO₂* combined (NEDC) 289 g/km). In addition to the highrevving naturally aspirated engine with racing DNA and the wellthoughtout lightweight design, above all the cooling and aerodynamic systems of the 911 GT3 RS link it directly to its sporty sibling, the 911 GT3 R.
The significant increase in performance is based on the concept of a central radiator, which was first used in the Le Mans classwinning 911 RSR and later in the 911 GT3 R. a corner center radiator in the nose of the car, located where the luggage compartment is located on other 911 models. This made it possible to use the space freed up on the sides for the integration of active aerodynamic elements.
