“Based on the previous foundation of building the Prelude SE, we had no problem installing the front MagSafe module, circuitry, and battery. But having a second set of MagSafe module and an additional foldable stand really made things a lot more difficult. We tried many different side stand designs, but eventually had to compromise due to the lack of interior space. To fit a wide range of phone sizes, as well as landscape and portrait orientations, we had to go through countless trails to optimize the angle, position, and dimensions of the kickstand hinge. In the end, through computer emulation and actual prototyping, we finally created a stable and functional side stand.”
