Clearly inspired by Turok and Monster Hunter, Primal Hunt is a co-op hunting game that lets you take on Jurassic dinosaurs! The main weapon in the game is the bow, but be careful, this is not a regular bow with wooden arrows, but a deadly weapon whose power and ammunition can be improved. Encountered dinosaurs also become more powerful as players advance, and may even have cybernetic implants, armor, and even weapons adapted to their morphology (machine guns, rocket launchers, deadly ion cannon!). Sticking to the trailer, this Primal Hunter really promises some good results. The graphics are low-poly, but the art direction remains particularly appealing. The dinosaur design is really neat and the cartoony side of it all doesn’t seem to be an embarrassing moment. Phaser Lock Interactive (to whom we owe VR games Final Assault and Twisted Arrow) could very well develop the first VR bomb for us next year. Primal Hunt will be available in Meta Quest 2 and Pico 4 on January 19, 2023.
