Primobox raises € 4 million for its HR process automation business solution

The Gironde start-up Primobox is accelerating its development thanks to a capital increase of nearly 4 million euros, subscribed by the historical shareholders (Société Consellior and its manager Alan Green) and marked by the arrival of a French family office whose name remains confidential.

This new fundraising should support the start-up’s growth project by making it possible to recruit around twenty profiles in 2021 in R&D, sales and marketing functions and customer support, and continue the development of new technical solutions. The start-up says “attentive to opportunities in France“, particularly in terms of external growth and it”wishes to expand into Europe within 2 years“.

An increase in demand for HR GED
Created in 2007 and based in Pessac, Gironde, Primobox has developed an HR dematerialization solution for companies. Targeting the Human Resources Departments of mid-sized companies and large accounts, it offers a business solution to meet their needs for automation and management of HR processes, from hiring to leaving the employee. The SaaS platform is compatible with existing IS environments.

Called DEMAT RH, it makes it possible to process, distribute, dematerialize and store documents of the life course of an employee in a company. It targets HR documents, still very numerous to be processed in paper format, such as the employment contract, information notes, IT charter, mutual information, time records, pay slips or even balances of any account.

Only 1 in 4 French people receive their pay slip electronically“, recalls the young shoot. Yet in a context of health crisis and explosion of remote services,”companies and their HR departments are looking for paperless solutions“. The year 2020 has thus accelerated an emerging need for HR EDM (electronic document management). Primobox emphasizes improving productivity, with the automation of time-consuming administrative tasks, but also the need to meet requirements regulations, with the application of the 2017 El Khomri Law, allowing their payslips to be issued in electronic format without the prior consent of the employee.

10 million euros in turnover targeted within 3 years
The start-up, based in Pessac, employs 45 people. It has convinced 450 clients in the health and medico-social, security, interim and retail sectors, like Cultura, Polycliniques Bordeaux Nord, Sud-Ouest, Maïsadour, Samsic, Fnac Darty, Castorama or EY.

Primobox claims 600 companies using DEMAT RH and 9 million documents processed. After having recorded 4.5 million euros in turnover in 2020, it aims to cross the 10 million euros mark within 3 years.
