Prodrive P25 is a Subura Impreza restomod.

Prodrive has announced that it is launching the Subura Impreza, Prodrive P25 restomod and a total of 25 cars will be produced.

The Prodrive P25 will use the latest technology, be lighter and more powerful than the original car, and feature a 2.5liter flatfour engine with over 400 horsepower.

25 years after the first Subaru Impreza World Rally Car (WRC) debuted in the World Rally Championship, the Prodrive P25 recreates the essence of the Impreza, drawing inspiration from the 22B, arguably the most iconic Impreza.

Thanks to modern technology, the P25 has become more powerful, lighter and more manageable. This time around, it will have a 2.5litre flatfour boxer engine producing over 400 hp, a sixspeed semiautomatic transmission with paddle shifters and, thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber, a lightweight chassis.

Peter Stevens, who designed the original Impreza WRC for Prodrive, defined the design, while the design of the car was overseen by Prodrive CTO David Lapworth, who was in charge of the original Impreza WRC.
