PS5: Is An Xbox Horror Exclusive On The Way?

It looks like one of the Xbox exclusives most envied by PS5 owners is set to debut on Sony’s new flagship.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (also known as ESRB) reportedly rated a PlayStation 5 version of The Medium, a psychological horror game developed by Bloober Team.

Although for now there has been no official confirmation from the publisher (Koch Media), the latter has never closed the door to the release of The Medium on other consoles, including including the ability to make a physical version of the game available (currently available on Xbox Series X / S only in digital format).

But that’s not all. In addition to citing the PS5 as one of the consoles available, the ESRB has also made available a brief description of the title, which highlights some of its peculiarities, from the loud and scabrous language to the presence of blood and even scenes of macabre violence.

The Medium

For those who don’t know, the highly regarded horror of the Polish software house (although there has been no shortage of reviews, more related to the performance of the game), allows players to take control of Marianne, medium. haunted by frightening visions linked to the murder of a child, who lives and interacts between two worlds: the real and the spiritual.

Become a medium living in two worlds, the real and the spiritual. Step into the shoes of a medium living in two worlds. You will have a broader perspective and be able to see more clearly that there is not a single truth behind what others perceive.

Nothing is as it seems, each coin has its reverse. The Medium features a “double” soundtrack produced by Arkadiusz Reikowski, of Bloober Team, and legendary composer Akira Yamaoka, known for Silent Hill.

While waiting to learn more about the case, we suggest you take this information with a grain of salt, as there has been no confirmation from the Polish development team yet.

The medium is currently available exclusively on Xbox Series X / S and for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. For more on Bloober Team’s latest effort, you can read our full review at the following link.
