Publisher Livi raises over $160 million for its teleconsultation platform

Swedish startup Kry, the publisher of the teleconsultation platform, introduced in France and the UK under the name Livi, announces a fundraiser of more than $160 million on July 21st.

The funding round was completed with the help of Teachers’ Venture Growth (part of the Ontario Teachers’ Retirement Plan) and P Capital Partners. Current investors Index Ventures, Accel, Creandum and Project A also took part.

7 million teleconsultations

With this new envelope, Kray wishes to continue to “develop digital technologies in European healthcare systems” and “ensure patients the right quality of care at the right time and quickly.” To date, more than 7 million teleconsultations have been recorded on its platform.

To attract new users, the company expanded its operations to include mental health management and women’s health. In the near future, she plans to launch a service dedicated to chronic diseases, including diabetes and asthma.

Growth over 100%

Founded in 2015 by Johannes Schildt, Josephine Landgaard, Fredrik Jung Abbow and Joachim Hedenius, Kry employs over 3,000 practitioners in Europe. To date, over 6,000 healthcare professionals use its platforms and tools. It claims over 100% growth over 2020 and 2021.
