Québec has reported 239 new cases of COVID-19 and one death since the report was published on Friday.
On Friday, 79 on Saturday and 61 on Sunday, 99 new cases were identified, with a total of 376,431 people infected since the start of the pandemic, of which 364,539 have recovered.
The death toll is 11,236 people.
There were 78 hospitalizations in total, six fewer since the last assessment. Of these patients, 23 are in intensive care, that is, two less.
On July 17, 10,719 samples were taken.
More than 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Quebec residents since the start of the vaccination campaign. Over the past 24 hours, 53,370 requests were processed, a total of 10,084,083 people.
The province expects 703,170 doses of Pfizer vaccine this week.
According to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec, 72.6% of the population received at least one dose of the vaccine, and this percentage rises to 83% if we exclude children under 12 years of age who cannot be vaccinated. A total of 48.2% of the population are properly vaccinated, of which 55.1% are aged 12 and over.
