Nixxes Software, a development studio specializing in game ports, has posted a job opening for a UX/UI Developer who will help “implement and improve the user experience for future AAA PC games.” While this may apply to all games, it is specifically mentioned that the individual must have experience using the Coherent middleware technology.
Coherent is a technology that has already been used in several games, including Microsoft Flight Simulator. Nixxes Software can use it to port Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to PC.
If this happens, it will be the last game in the PlayStation series to come to PC. Days Gone, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and God of War are all recent examples of popular PlayStation games being ported to PC. To see what the future holds for us.
To sum up
A UX/UI developer post from Nixxes Software hints that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart could be the next PlayStation game to hit PC.
