Razer Blade 14 Laptop Updated with USB 4 Thunderbolt Support

This week, Razer announced updates to its Razer Blade 14 laptop and the model’s availability in black and quartz, as well as the inclusion of USB 4 to USBC connectivity and a Microsoft Pluto security processor. “Existing 2022 Razer Blade 14 models will require a software update to take advantage of these new features.”

The updated USBC port now offers speeds up to 40Gbps and supports Thunderbolt, allowing you to optionally connect your laptop to external GPUs such as the Razer Core X Chroma. The addition of USB 4 also provides DisplayPort 1.4a support for external monitors and supports USB C charging up to 100W.

“The Quartz version will be available specifically for the Blade 14 model, featuring NVIDIA GeForce 3070 Ti laptop GPU and AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor for the best balance between power and portability. USB 4 brings significant benefits to all 2022 Blade 14 models. Updated USB C ports offer speeds up to 40Gbps and Thunderbolt capability, meaning the Blade 14 can be paired with external GPUs such as the Razer Core X Chroma. USB 4 also enables DisplayPort 1.4a. [TF1] [GH2] [DC3] for external monitors and now supports up to 100W USB C charging.”

Razer Skins

Razer also announced the availability of Blade 14 skins. Top skins are $25 and full coverage skins are $60.
