Researchers list jobs threatened by AI

We recently saw the extent to which the latest generation of intelligent language models such as ChatGPT are able to perfectly mimic—even surpass—human abilities. These tools are capable of generating reasoned texts on almost any topic. What could be the implications of these technologies for the economy? Are certain jobs at risk? American researchers have studied these questions.

By definition, artificial intelligence is designed to simulate human cognitive abilities and thus automate certain tasks. So it’s legitimate to wonder if certain professions could ever be completely replaced by AI. Large language models such as ChatGPT are already widely used in the professional world. Some companies use ChatGPT as a decision support tool, real estate agents use it for quick listings, and financial planners can quickly create standard documents.
