Resident Evil 4 Remake tested on PlayStation, Xbox and PC

For those of you who want to know more about the longawaited Resident Evil 4 remake, you might be interested to know that the Digital Foundry team has released the first test video of the new Resident Evil game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series. X|S and computer systems. Resident Evil 4 Remake will officially launch in a few days and be playable from March 24, 2023, offering Capcom’s singleplayer survival horror game.

The storyline of Resident Evil 4 takes place six years after the events of Resident Evil 2. United States Strategic Command Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, daughter of the President of the United States, from a Spanish village controlled by the violent cult Los Illuminados. Other characters that appear include Ada Wong, Leon’s cameraman Ingrid Hannigan, civilian Luis Sera, and antagonists Bitores Mendez and Ramon Salazar.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a remastered version of the original 2005 game that offers the same thirdperson gameplay, but with improved visuals and more.

“Alex Battaglia and John Linneman have released a demo of Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw, providing an early look at the game for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and PC ahead of the game’s launch later this month. There is already a lot to look forward to in the future – and some technical hesitation that needs to be corrected before launch. Performance, visuals, modes and options are all covered, and there will be more when the game is released.”
