Game news Resident Evil Re: Verse: Multiplayer Game Unveils Exit Window
On May 7, players can get their hands on Resident Evil Village. The title contains the Mercenaries mode, but also grants access to Resident Evil Re: Verse, a multiplayer title in the same universe. However, we will have to wait a bit before we can get started.
Featured alongside Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil Re: Verse had never formalized a May 7 release, while hinting at it by indicating that the title was included in Resident Evil Village. Today, Capcom updated the official license page Resident Evil, and added a very informative little insert. We learn in particular that Re: Verse will only be available this summer on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom specifies, however, that the PS5 and the Xbox Series will run the “old-gen” versions. Was this a postponement or was it planned like this from the beginning? Difficult to know, since Capcom does not provide any additional information on the subject. That being said, the woes of the beta may have prompted the developers to quietly postpone the release so they could fix the issues.
