Ben “BitBoy” Armstrong predicts Ripple’s court win and unexpected turning point in 2023.
Cryptocurrency blogger and pro-XRP activist Ben Armstrong, also known as BitBoy, shared an extremely optimistic outlook for 2023. It has become familiar in the community, the second part of the forecast really surprised me.

According to Armstrong, the new year should be the year when the current head of the regulator, Gary Gensler, will be forced to step down. Earlier last year, similar calls were made on social media even before the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.
Less optimistic forecasts
Another XRP activist and cryptocurrency lawyer, John Deaton, sees a slightly different picture. He believes the case will be decided by a judge without the out-of-court settlement that many in the XRP community are hoping for. Such an outcome makes the chances of the cryptocurrency to win the case more uncertain. According to John Deaton, Gary Gensler will not make concessions on this issue and recognizes that XRP is not a security.
Such persistence could prove to be a major roadblock to a positive outcome for Ripple and XRP, not to mention Gensler’s resignation. Nevertheless, judging by various forecasts, including those of those who were directly involved in the process, the results should be known in the coming months.
