Aircraft Braawa

Roomba maker iRobot launched the Braava jet a few years ago. After the vacuum cleaner, it is the mop that the American company proposes to leave aside thanks to this robot that can clean up the mess or do the weekly maintenance of the floors. Brent Hilde of iRobot promises that their two flagship products will continue to evolve over the next few years.

The Braava Jet M6 is priced at $599.99. The Roomba j7+ retails for $999.99.

Giddel robot by Altan Robotech

Cleaning the toilet is certainly a task that many would happily do without. At least that’s what Altan Robotech, which invented the robot for them, thought. Once attached to the toilet bowl, the brush-equipped device cleans the inside of the toilet bowl. According to the company, it can be adapted to toilets of different sizes.

The cost of the Giddel robot is $498.27.

Astrobot Amazon

Astro is not a cleaning robot. However, since it is meant to make everyday life at home easier, it has been added to this list. From autumn 2021, Amazon customers in the US who receive an invitation can get this smart robot with something cute. Let’s admit that his big eyes give him a friendly look. With Astro, you can keep an eye on your home at all times. When you are outside, you can ask the robot to look around different rooms in the house. Astro can also carry items, leave messages for other members of the residence, make phone calls, and play music.

Astro is not available in Canada.

other bots

One of Husqvarna’s robotic lawn mowers.

Among the various novelties being sold here and elsewhere, there is also a robot that can fold clothes and another that mows the lawn. But apart from these intelligent robots, the machines that have been around us for many years are also robots,” recalls Glen Burset, assistant professor of computer science and operational research at the University of Montreal. “People may not see it that way, but the dishwasher is a robot,” he recalls.
