Samsung Flex Hybrid Display unveiled at CES 2023

At CES 2023, Samsung introduced a new flexible and sliding display, the Samsung Flex Hybrid Display, and it certainly looks interesting.

It will be interesting to see how the technology develops and how Samsung uses these types of displays in future products.

From January 4 to 7, the company will be hosting a public exhibit entitled “Disruptive Technologies Opens the Way to a Sustainable Future” at CES, the first fully inperson event since 2020. Samsung Display introduces innovative OLED products in all sizes, medium and large to look into the future of displays. Among the innovations will be the “Flex Hybrid”, which combines folding and sliding capabilities in a single display, as well as largescreen slideout panels that will be the prototype of future laptops. And QDOLED 2023 will show brighter and more realistic image quality thanks to an advanced optimization algorithm, IntelliSense AI and new OLED HyperEfficient EL material.

In the past, Samsung Display has introduced new generation folding and sliding products at various exhibitions. At CES 2023, the company is set to showcase its upcoming Flex Hybrid mobile smart device, which combines two innovative technologies into one. Folding technology is applied to the left side of the screen, while sliding technology is applied to the right side of the Flex Hybrid. Users can enjoy movies and videos on the 10.5inch 4:3 aspect ratio display or the large 12.4inch 16:10 aspect ratio screen.
