The Samsung Galaxy S23s won’t be announced until early next year. However, rumors about them are already starting to multiply on the Web. After a leak regarding the 200 MP photo sensor, now the dimensions of the three models planned for 2023 are revealed thanks to the well-known leaker Ice Universe.
Few changes compared to S22
According to information discovered by an insider, you should not expect big changes in the size of the future flagships of the South Korean giant. Just like Apple did with its iPhone 14, Samsung would opt for a similar design to the Galaxy S22 and only plans to resize its Galaxy S23 by a few tenths of a millimeter, which is unlikely to be noticeable.
For the base Galaxy S23, the dimensions will be 146.3mm x 70.9mm x 7.6mm, compared to 146mm x 70.6mm x 7.6mm for the Galaxy S22. The smartphone will be equipped with the same 6.1-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
The Galaxy S23 Plus is said to measure 157.8mm x 76.2mm x 7.6mm compared to the Galaxy S22 Plus at 157.4mm x 75.8mm x 7.64mm. It will also have the same screen as its predecessor i.e. a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 2340 x 1080 pixel panel.
As for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it measures 163.4mm x 78.1mm x 8.9mm versus 163.3mm x 77.9mm x 8.9mm for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Here we will also find a 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels.
Unless major changes are made in terms of design, Samsung should innovate in the area of performance, in particular by integrating the highest performing Snapdragon processors into all models.
