Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series: plenty of info before the August 11 presentation

The Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for August 11. On this occasion, the Korean manufacturer should unveil its folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. New connected watches would also be traveling, which is what recent disclosures seem to confirm.

Two variants would be planned

Promotional images reveal the interface, as well as the design of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic. Both variants have a circular case, but only one takes advantage of the rotating crown. It is undoubtedly tactile on the second.

Blogger H0x0D discovered part of the technical sheet: the Galaxy Watch 4 would thus be offered in 40 mm and 44 mm with screens of 1.19 inches (396×396 pixels) and 1.36 inches (450×450 pixels) respectively. A little more imposing, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic would have cases of 42 mm or 46 mm, the dimensions of the screens would however remain unchanged (1.19 inches and 1.36 inches).

Both versions would be based on an Exynos W920 processor with 5nm engraving, coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. We can hope for solid performance and smooth navigation in the interface.

Side autonomy, Samsung would have integrated a battery of 247 mAh on the 40 and 42 mm and 361 mAh for the 44 and 46 mm. For comparison, the Galaxy Watch 3 46mm has a 340mAh battery.

New sensors?

In addition to these characteristics, we also note the presence of a host of sensors: accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, but also heart rate monitor, electrocardiogram and a BIA sensor which transmits indications on the composition of the body (body fat, the volume of water, muscle mass).
