The Nikon Z5 is an entry-level mirrorless camera marketed as an affordable alternative to Nikon’s line of mirrorless cameras. And it’s an even better deal these days, with the Nikon Z5 and accessory kit only priced at $1,096.95. (will open in a new tab) in BiH. Accessories include a Ruggard Hunter 25 DSLR Holster Bag and a 128GB V30 rated SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I SDXC Memory Card for effortless 4K video recording.
The relatively compact Z5 fits comfortably in the hand, measuring 5.3 x 4 x 2.8 inches and weighing just 1 lb 4.9 oz, making it easy to travel with. It has surprisingly good weather protection for the price, so photographers can take it with them in any weather. That’s good news because, as we found in our Nikon Z5 review, it’s best used as an all-round all-around camera as it can handle just about everything you need to shoot.
The Nikon Z5 has an ISO range of 100 to 51200 which can be extended to 50-102400 for low light shooting. the camera is full frame, it gets too noisy for any decent astrophotos when you hit thousands. Instead, we recommend shooting with multiple exposures or increasing the shutter speed to get clearer astro images.
Shooting 24.3 megapixel photos with a maximum burst rate of 4.5 fps won’t win any awards, but it’s good enough for casual shooters. In addition, it can shoot videos up to 4K UHD 30p.
The bottom and back are made of durable plastic, while the body is made of magnesium alloy, making it lightweight and easy to maintain stability when shooting in low light or when shooting video. That’s because it works in tandem with five stops of five-axis in-body image stabilization to maintain smooth, crisp shots.
The big draw of the Nikon Z5 is the sharing capabilities with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth that work in conjunction with the Nikon SnapBridge app to wirelessly transfer your photos and videos. Make the most of this Nikon Z5 discount because we’ve already seen it come and go this month and we’re not sure how long the $310 savings will last.
