Seizure of 58 kg of cannabis: 7 people from Rivière Noire remain in custody

They know the police cell by heart. The seven suspects arrested after the confiscation of 58 kg of cannabis in the Rivière Noire were again brought before the Bambus Court yesterday, presided over by Justice of the Peace Vidya Mungru-Jugurnath.

Remember that they are responding to a preliminary charge of drug dealing. The police once again objected to their release on bail, so Joe Enzo Romeo Louis, Laurent L’Entete, Gerald Carnin, Brian Ricco, Jean Laharo Meunier, Louis Armand Alas, and police officer Jonathan Jobs were brought back to their cell. This is in anticipation of their next appearance scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th.
