It is clear that the beginning of the school year is busy. With the opening of the Tokyo Game Show this week, builders and studios are ready to make a lot of discoveries. After Nintendo confirmed the Nintendo Direct for this Tuesday, it’s Sony’s turn to announce the game’s status for this September. Here is the first official information.
Looking forward to the real PlayStation Showcase?
This game state will be broadcast on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:59 pm if not midnight. If we don’t yet know what games will be shown, we know that the presentation will last about 20 minutes, with announcements of new projects, as well as updates and gameplay of already known games. There are a total of 10 games to be shown that will be released on PS5, PS4 and PSVR2.
The games shown will be mostly Japanese, as Sony notes in its official statement. It is logical, because the Tokyo Game Show opens its doors. But some western titles will still be shown. God of War Ragnarok? Remake of Resident Evil 4? Horizon Call of the Mountain? If we don’t know the productions that will be featured, we could still bet a coin on one of these games with our fingers crossed on a new playthrough of Final Fantasy XVI, which is very likely.
Also remember that Konami has to make an announcement during the Tokyo Game Show and may use one of the shows of the day. However, we will be careful not to get too enthusiastic as the state of affairs has not always been surprising and we were hoping for a real PlayStation Showcase. Our team will of course cover the announcements.
