Two billionaires, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, are planning to fly to the moon. An ambition shared by China, which has joined forces with Russia to build a lunar base.

On Saturday, August 27, thousands of Americans went to Florida (USA) at Cape Canaveral to admire the Artemis 1 moon target rocket. Between 200,000 and 500,000 people are expected to fly out on Monday morning. Everyone dreams of flying to the moon, from private companies to governments and billionaires. Elon Musk and his company SpaceX have already planned to send a Japanese billionaire to the moon by 2023. NASA has even chosen SpaceX to build a lunar lander that will take astronauts to the surface of a star.

Elon Musk’s rival Jeff Bezos, the creator of Amazon, also dreams of conquering the Earth’s satellite and presented his Blue Moon project three years ago. A spacecraft due to land on the Moon in 2024 to deliver equipment needed for scientific experiments. The opportunity to live on the moon is not reserved for Americans. For several years now, the Chinese have been poisoning NASA. They’ve managed to land a probe on the far side of the moon, and they’ve just teamed up with the Russians to build a lunar base. For everyone, the race for the moon has just begun.
