Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC since the end of 2019, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was first entitled to a patch improving its performance on the new generation of console beforeElectronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment only announce real versions next-gen would see the light of day. We then had no date for the availability of these PS5 and Xbox Series X | S editions, except for a vague “summer 2021” and the promise that they would be free for owners of the game on old-gen. Well, everything seems to indicate an upcoming release, at least on the machine of Sony.
According to our colleagues from TheGamer, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released on PS5 no later than this Friday, June 11. Clearly, then, we can expect an imminent announcement from the studios, but what is most astonishing is thata physical version would be expected on the same date, already in the hands of resellers. Yeah, funny way to do it. It’s hard to say if the Xbox Series will also be affected, but what is certain is that the list of Trophies on PS5 is now active, identical to that on PS4.
We just have to wait while waiting for the obvious confirmation. You can purchase the game for € 29.99 at the Fnac.
Update : althoughElectronic Arts still did not deign to speak on the subject, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available on PS5, notably on the PlayStation Store. Many gamers have already been able to upgrade their PS4 copy and report the facts on the networks. And it was to be suspected, the Xbox Series X | S were not put aside and are also concerned, at least for the digital edition, no new physical version having made the talk.
