In mid-January, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order welcomed a first update for Xbox Series X | S. On the program, Respawn Entertainment offered an improvement in the frame rate per second as well as a 4K resolution on the high-end machine from Microsoft. Since then, the developers have announced that a version dedicated to new generation consoles will arrive this summer and that the latter will be free for owners of the game on old gen.
And without having an official date for the moment, it seems that we should not be very patient since it will all happen at the end of the month! Indeed, according to the European classification body, PEGI, Xbox Series X | S versions would be available on June 26th. Information to be taken with a grain of salt since the PEGI site now shows an inconsistency on the release date of these editions – visible below. Note that June 26 matches the listings of various foreign resellers.
As of this writing, Respawn Entertainment has yet to communicate the extent of the additions that will be offered. As a reminder, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is available in EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
