It’s been a year since Valve unveiled its Steam Deck portable gaming PC, and the company is selling everything it can make. But to celebrate the start of the Steam Spring Sale, Steam Deck is getting its first discount. All versions of the Steam Deck, including the base $400 model, are now 10% off during the sale. This means you can get it for just $359.10.
The other two Steam Deck models – the 256GB and 512GB models, which use faster NVMe storage and upgraded glass in the 512GB version – also get a 10 percent discount. This brings them down to $476.10 and $584.10 respectively. All three models come with a free carrying case. The sale will run until the end of the Steam Spring Sale on March 23rd, though delivery times may be greatly delayed as Valve runs out of stock.
In addition to the first ever discount on Steam Deck hardware, the regular sale on Steam deserves attention. Hundreds and hundreds of PC games are on sale for up to 90 percent off their regular price. Here are 10 great deals we saw in the sale, in no particular order:

- Ori and the Blind Forest: $4.99, 75% off (also Ori and the Will of the Wisps!)
- Dying Light 2: $29.99, 50% off

In addition to discounts on games and hardware, Valve also provides the ability to customize loading animations for Steam Deck. Users can create their own or download videos from others. It’s a big day to be a Steam fan.
