Stranger Things and Magic the Gathering announce crossover

Culture news Stranger Things and Magic the Gathering announce crossover

Right now is Netflix Geeked, an event dedicated to shows and movies “based on (our) favorite games”. The initiative will last until June 11, and today we got an announcement around Magic The Gathering, the famous card game.

Earlier today, we learned that Amybeth McNulty (Anne with an E), Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen and Grace Van Dien joined season 4 of Stranger Things, which should focus on Eleven and her “education” in the Secret Labs. Today, Netflix announced that a partnership has been formed with Magic The Gathering. This will result in the addition of Eleven and the other characters within the game, through a never-before-seen secret lair ”, which will be available somewhere by the end of the year.

Secret Lairs, or Secret Lair, are the result of collaborations signed by Wazards of the Coast with artists, and which offer a different approach to the legendary card game. Usually this results in new versions of existing cards, but, and it is the case here, sometimes it happens that unpublished elements are published. However, their sale is systematically limited in time, and it is better to pre-order them to be sure to get them. Finally, if you want to dig deeper into the universe, Netflix has unveiled a podcast with six episodes, and will be available from June 29 in English. Entitled Surviving Hawkins, this audio series will do prequel office and will feature Maya Hawke as Robin.
