The easiest to forget of all Subaru vehicles is usually the Legacy sedan. Subaru has announced an updated 2023 Legacy with a redesigned front end, improved safety features and a new infotainment system. For 2023, Subaru has also added a sporty trim.
The Sport Trim and Touring XT come standard with a 2.4liter turbocharged BOXER engine. Subaru has confirmed that the 2023 Legacy will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring XT versions. The car will go on sale this fall. The big update is a new version of the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6inch Multimedia Plus system that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In Sport trim, the 2.4liter engine produces 260 horsepower. It also gets gray 18inch wheels and an exclusive black and gray twotone fabric with contrasting red stitching on the interior. The Sport builds on the Premium and adds a sport suspension, LED fog lights, a power sunroof and navigation. Other versions of the new Legacy use a 2.5liter engine with 182 horsepower and 176 lbft of torque.
