Lexus has announced that its compact SUV Lexus UX will receive a wide range of updates. This includes an increased range of up to 280 miles for the UX 300e, an increase of about 40 percent.
There’s also a new infotainment system with a larger display and a range of new features and capabilities, plus Lexus has also introduced a new UX 250h F Sport Design package.
Lexus has boosted the appeal of its UX compact city SUV, its bestselling model in the UK, by redesigning both the UX 250h selfcharging hybrid electric and UX 300e battery electric.
Both feature a new multimedia system that provides improved connectivity, higher performance and easier control. New features include eightor 12inch touchscreens, cloudbased navigation, and the introduction of a new “Hey Lexus” inflight voice assistant.
The main technical change for the UX 300e is the introduction of a new, more powerful battery that helps increase the vehicle’s range by about 40 percent, to 280 miles*. Other changes to the body and chassis contribute to an even more exciting and refined driving experience.
Other changes include enhanced and additional Lexus Safety System+ features, a new F Sport Design package and a twotone paint option for the UX 250h.
