Eight years after its release, The Last of Us Part 1 is still considered one of the best survival horror games out there. Its PS5 re-release, available from Friday, received a more than enthusiastic reception with an average score of 88% on Metacritic.

The Last of Us Part 1
Completely redesigned with Naughty Dog’s new studio engine, it now offers two modes: Fidelity (40fps, native 4K) and Performance (60fps, dynamic 4K). The improvement is obvious: object textures, shadows and, above all, character traits are better drawn. On the other hand, a player who already owns the PS4 enhanced version is not interested in the extra $89.99.
The announcement of the loss of 1,200 jobs at parent company Snapchat this week overshadowed the launch of a rather impressive new feature: a dual camera. Originally reserved for Apple users, this feature allows you to shoot with the front and rear cameras at the same time. The two images can be layered vertically, horizontally, inset or blended together. The possibilities are endless: for example, you can be at the center of a discussion between two people or show off a dish while tasting it. The feature will be offered “in a few months for the more fragmented Android device market,” we explained to La Presse.
REDMAGIK 7S Pro
A surprisingly powerful phone for its price, REDMAGIC, designed exclusively for gaming with an internal fan, angular icons and glowing lines on the back, received a small update last month with the release of the 7 S. Pro model. Its new Snapdragon 8+Gen1 processor, 16GB to 18GB maximum RAM, and improved cooling make it even more efficient, according to our Geekbench 5 performance tests, at a similar price. Not everyone will love its clunky, bumpy design, and the French interface is still sleazy, but gamers will love its 960Hz touchscreen and video game red button. Our rating: 4.5 out of 5.
