After Metal Slug 6 and King of Fighter XI, Samurai Shodown VI is added to the SEGA Dreamcast catalog. And at such a rate, the white lady will quickly offer the complete list of Atomiswave arcade titles!
Yesterday, we announced that Megavolt85 from the dreamcast-talk forum had managed to port the Atomiswave versions of Metal Slug 6 and King of Fighters XI. In addition to this encouraging information, the modder promised that we could port all the games of this arcade system on the SEGA spiral console. We had therefore taken good note of these fine intentions, without expecting to see new titles arriving for a long time.
But tonight we learn that Megavolt85 has already worn Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkakuden / Samurai Shodown VI on Dreamcast. If the fighting game developed and published by SNK Playmore was released on PlayStation 2 in 2005, PlayStation 3 in 2014 and on PlayStation 4 in 2016 via the PlayStation Network, this is indeed the arcade version Atomiswave in question.
This is great news for those who will jump on the title available in its GDI version at this address since this seventh 2D opus from Samurai Spirits is a real success both in terms of gameplay and graphic and sound production.
At the rate things are going, the small library of Atomiswave games (24 games including 9 fighting games and 2 beat’em all!) Will soon be complete on the spiral console!
