The Last of Us takes place 20 years after the destruction of modern civilization. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to get 14-year-old Ellie out of the oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job quickly turns into a brutal and agonizing journey. They both must cross the United States and depend on each other to survive.
