In the AMG SL 55, the V8 block produces 469 hp. and 516 lbft of torque. The sprint from standstill to 60 mph is completed in about 3.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 183 mph. Both models are fitted as standard with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, which combines an emotionally engaging shifting experience with extremely short shift times.
