This is a dedication for developers. Montpellier-based Studio BlueTwelve won the award for the best independent video game of the year for “Stray” on the night of Thursday to Friday at the Game Awards 2022 in Los Angeles.
In this first game developed by BlueTwelve Studio, the player puts himself in the shoes of a stray cat. The plot of the game is simple, the red cat is far from his family in the middle of a city inhabited by robots. It was then that many meetings with strange inhabitants begin. Puzzle-based, Stray challenges the player to collect items, which then need to be given to the right person or traded.
Since its release on July 19 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, the video game has become an online phenomenon. It costs about thirty euros.
