The Witcher 3 Next Generation Patch Coming December 14th

Fans of The Witcher are patiently waiting for the release of the longawaited nextgen update for The Witcher 3. It will be nice to know that game developer CD Projekt Red has officially announced that the new update will be released next month and available for download from December 14, 2022.

“Enhanced with the capabilities of next generation consoles and modern PC hardware, the upcoming release of the awardwinning CD PROJEKT RED RPG will feature dozens of visual, performance and technical improvements over the original. These include support for ray tracing, faster loading times on consoles, and many mods integrated into the gameplay, among many others. Along with new additional content inspired by Netflix’s The Witcher series, they will be revealed next week at a special REDstreams event on Twitch, where the studio will showcase gameplay from the nextgen version of the game.”

“The next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be available for digital purchase on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, including all free DLC released to date and both major expansions: Hearts of Stone , blood and wine. What’s more, a free nextgen update will be available to anyone who owns any version of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The physical edition will be released after the initial digital rollout, with a specific date to be announced at a later date. “
