COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Zachary’s Restaurant in Columbus is organizing a donation to help Fish and Blues with recovery costs.
Fish & Blues caught fire at about 2 am. Friday morning.
Owners Tavron and Barbara Johnson opened Fish & Blues just five years ago, but has quickly grown into a well-known eatery in the community.
The building is now completely lost.
Zachary’s owner, Doug Pellum, said 10% of all proceeds will go towards cleaning up Fish and Blues.
“The same thing happened to us almost two years ago, and we know what they are going through right now. We are trying our best to help them raise some money this weekend. We make sure that 10% of our total sales go to Tavron and the Fish and Blues family, and we also take a donation bucket for anyone who wants to help this family with this unfortunate incident. Pellum said.
Pellums said CJ’s Pizza is also raising money to help Fish and Blues.
