Professional burglars were allegedly behind this theft of hundreds of bottles of champagne, as Le Parisien echoed in its issue on Saturday, September 24th. This Thursday, September 22, a man was tried for participating in such an operation. On the night of June 16, robbers entered the warehouse where champagne bottles were stored. They left with 43 pallets of the precious liquid, estimated at several hundred thousand euros, according to our colleagues.

Very organized team

The operation was well organized in Bonney-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne, Île-de-France, as people arrived with several cars and even a semi-trailer to transport this booty. License plates captured by surveillance cameras did not allow the criminals to be found. They were all wrong. In the warehouse and out of sight, they loaded pallets one by one into their vehicles using a forklift found locally, according to Le Parisien.


Unusual revenge of a car theft victim

Investigators who think they are dealing with professionals would find only one single and unique DNA trace of a man in his thirties at the scene. The latter, who lives in Saint-Saint-Denis, appeared before the criminal court of Créteil on Thursday. The 30-year-old man did not say anything about his associates. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
