The 2D fighting game Rumble Fish 2 has been published by 3goo, which first unveiled it a few weeks ago.
This winter, the game will be available on all platforms PS5, PS4, Nintendo Changer, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. However, no specific release date has been announced yet.
Rumble Fish 2 was not officially released on consoles until it was released in Japanese arcades in 2005. Since then, it has become a cult favorite among fighting game fans.
Thanks to SMA (Fluid Model Animation), the game is famous for the smooth graphics of animated films. The series is well known in Japan but less known in the West as it has never been officially released for slot machines in Europe or North America.
16:9 aspect ratio, online gameplay, new instruction mode and Rollback netcode are just some of the updates and new features this new port needs to keep up with the times.
There is also a gallery mode where you can see illustrations, music, behind-the-scenes information, and more. You can change the behavior of the AI to explore your characters in training mode.
Although the menu and subtitles are only available in English, they will also be available in Chinese (simplified and traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French and Korean.
The audio will be in Japanese only. Our goal at 3goo was to develop this beloved game by bringing it to console platforms and providing some of the great features that the game has to offer console players, such as an online PvP mode and a place to learn combos properly.
We are looking forward to the release of the game and hope that it will be available on consoles. Stay tuned for more exciting surprises ahead of release, and we hope fans of the franchise will be thrilled too.
