Today is… Star Wars Day!

Today, the world is celebrating what Star Wars fans have dubbed Star Wars Day.

But this day is celebrated not only by fans, several brands are already associated with this holiday. Come see how Warner Bros Games or Xbox do it…

May 4 has become known worldwide to Star Wars fans as Star Wars Day.

This day was named so because of the similarity of the phrase “May the force be with you”, mentioned several times in the movie, with “May Fourth” (May 4).

And it seems that from year to year the number of supporters of this day is growing and brands have already begun to look at the calendar differently, in relation to May 4th.

Games Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. Games is celebrating Star Wars Day today with the release of two new DLC (Downloadable Content) packs for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which we should try here.

These are sets of characters from the second season of The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

The Mandalorian Season 2 cast will include Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and Moff Gideon. The Star Wars: The Bad Batch character set will include the Hunter, Pest, Technician, Scope, and Echo.

Remember we tried the game on Xbox Series X, but it’s also available for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Meanwhile, out of curiosity, Warner Bros. Games recently reported that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga set the record for the largest global LEGO game release, surpassing all previous LEGO console game releases.

The game sold 3.2 million units worldwide in its first two weeks and broke sales records across all platforms, regions and releases. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released on April 5 for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Xbox and Star Wars Day

Xbox has also joined in the celebration and as such is leading some of the initiatives.

To celebrate Star Wars Day 2022 and the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Xbox, LEGO and Lucasfilm are releasing 12 unique Xbox Series S consoles adorned with iconic characters from all 12 Star Wars.
