Toronto Raptors | Khem Birch suffers from COVID-19 in September

(Toronto) Toronto Raptors center Khem Birch has revealed that he and his family are cured of COVID-19.

The Montreal-born athlete told the media on Monday about his experience after contracting the virus.

He said he and his family arrived in Toronto on Sept. 18 and less than a week later they all tested positive for the coronavirus.

Birch said she lost her sense of taste while suffering from the disease and faced moments of fatigue. However, he believes that he can quickly regain the physical condition necessary to play matches.

All members of the Raptors are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Raptors begin their season on October 20 when they host the Washington Wizards.
