Washington – Donald Trump’s future social network will be hosted by RightForge, a conservative-friendly internet infrastructure company, Chief Executive Martin Avila said Tuesday.

Le réseau social de l’ancien president conservteur, baptized “Truth Social”, devoted to compter plus 75 millions of utilizers, explained by M. Avila on the site d’informations Axios, soulignant qu’il avait “prepared the terrain” pour ce case defigure.

“That is why there will be servers everywhere,” he said.

Donald Trump was expelled from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube following the violent assault on the Capitol on January 6 by his supporters, but the head of RightForge believes that the former president should not be silenced.

“If you think the president should be banned from using platforms, we think you really don’t want to live in a free country,” he said.

According to him, RightForge wants to make sure that “America stays true to its core ideas and that the market for ideas stays open.”

RightForge began building a global network after Trump was kicked out of social media and then Google, Apple, and Amazon shut down Parler’s site, a kind of Facebook for conservatives.

The former real estate mogul last week announced the upcoming release of “Social Truth,” the latest attempt to return to social media that is fueling speculation about a new 2024 White House bid.

Donald Trump said Tuesday that the newly created Trump Media & Technology (TMTG) group that will encompass “Truth Social”, a video-on-demand service and podcasts, “sees opportunities” in other key sectors, from internet services to payment infrastructures. .

“We have seen a current president of the United States silenced by a small oligarchy of media and technology giants,” Trump said in a statement.

He said he was “determined to break his hold on the voices of the American people.”

Facebook indefinitely banned Trump on January 7, accusing the former president of using its platform to incite supporters to violence before the assault on Capitol Hill. The penalty was then reduced to two years.

Twitter had also permanently suspended the presidential account of almost 89 million subscribers “due to the risk of further incitement to violence.”
