Try One Piece Odyssey in this demo

On January 13, you can get the One Piece Odyssey turn-based RPG. To prepare for this, Bandai Namco invites you to try the game in a demo version, which is now available on the Xbox Market, as well as on the PS Store.

As you begin, you’ll find that the series’ characters known as the Straw Hat Pirates have been swept up in a storm and stranded on a mysterious, isolated island. They must find each other, get to know the locals, and fight the new enemies they encounter along the way. These turn-based battles will allow you to gain experience.

Your favorite pirate crew is here

Luffy – A Captain who ate a Devil Fruit that allowed him to bend and stretch like it was rubber.

Zoro is a master swordsman who uses a three-sword fighting style.

Nami is the ship’s navigator and skilled trickster who uses his “Clima-Tact” to fight by controlling the weather.

Usopp is a sharpshooter with a slingshot who fears conflict the most.

Sanji is a skilled cook who only uses his hands for cooking and only fights with his feet.

Chopper is a half-reindeer, half-human, staff medic on the ship.

Robin is a ship’s archaeologist who ate a Devil Fruit, allowing him to create replicas of limbs from any surface.

Franky is a shipbuilder and cyborg with superhuman strength and weapons built into his body.

Brook is a musician and a skeleton whose soul can separate from his body… or whatever is left of it.

Each member of your team has their own specialization, which is often the move that made them famous in the game series.

In each battle, your party members and your enemies take different positions on the battlefield. This allows you to throw melee, ranged, and group attacks based on your location, so you’ll need to make sure each character is in the right place to take advantage of their abilities. Luckily, the game allows you to swap party members throughout the fight. You can even engage party members who weren’t on the field. Is Usopp too close to a group of enemies? Trade with Sanji. No healing items available? Ask Chopper to deal with damaged friends. Later in the game, you can even harness the power of friendship with the Link Art, a powerful ability of the Straw Hat Pirates that you can unlock through side quests.

So it’s set for January 13th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
