Turtle Beach has unveiled new products this week in the form of the REACTR wired game controller and Arctic Camo Recon. Arctic Camo Recon is now available for preorder and will launch August 10, 2022 in Europe and the UK and August 24 in the United States.
The REACTR controller is now available for purchase in Europe and the UK for £35 or €45 and provides game control, chat volume balance and mic mute. REACTR is also available for preorder in the United States and will be officially launched next month on August 17, 2022.
“The Recon controller was Turtle Beach’s powerful first entry into the gamepad market. It received awards and high praise the moment it was introduced, and the _REACTR controller offers gamers many of the same core features at a very attractive price point,” said Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO of Turtle Beach Corporation. “REACTR and the new Arctic Camo Recon controller are the first of several upcoming controllers we’re launching this year for consoles, PCs and mobile gamers.”
“An ergonomic shape with textured grips, handles and triggers, two assignable quick action buttons on the back of the controller, and dual rumble motors in the handles complete the features of the REACTR controller. Turtle Beach’s REACTR controller comes in black or white with purple accents and is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PCs.”

“Xbox and Windows PC gamers can connect any wired headset with a 3.5mm jack to the REACTR controller for instant audio upgrades, including Turtle Beach’s proprietary Superhuman Hearing audio tuning. Superhuman hearing has been shown to provide a competitive edge by allowing players to hear key audio cues such as approaching enemy footsteps.
Play longer and stay in control with the REACTR controllers’ ergonomic shape and textured grips, grips and triggers. Two assignable quick action buttons on the back of the controller allow players to customize the controls for faster response. Feel the roar of explosions or the recoil of a shot with vibration feedback thanks to the dual vibration motors in the REACTR handles.”
